Hello, I am Jayne, creator and owner of Jayne's Little Cakery based in Leven, near Beverley, East Yorkshire.

I began baking when studying for my home economics exams at school way back in the 1970's! I have always baked for my family, friends and children when they were growing up. Each year my children would challenge me to do an ever more intricate cake for their birthdays!

In my personal life I am very family orientated, I love singing and performing in a choir which I have been a member of for 36 years. Musical theatre and going to the theatre are my passions. In the past I have worked as a consumer adviser, owned a gift shop and a fish and chip shop, and worked as a library assistant

I decided to launch Jayne’s Little Cakery in February 2018 when I realised it was time to fulfill my dream of running my own bespoke cake business and putting my creativity to the test. I did this with the full support and encouragement of my family.

Here at Jayne’s Little Cakery I work to very high standards using only the best quality ingredients. Each item is made with love and care combining your specifications and my bespoke designs. I absolutely love creating something purely special for you and pride myself on my attention to detail.
