Who are Jayne’s Little Cakery?
Jayne Little is the sole trader trading as Jayne’s Little Cakery based in Leven near Beverley in East Yorkshire. Jayne’s Little Cakery creates bespoke cakes for sale in East Yorkshire and Hull.

When you visit Jayne’s Little Cakery website.

If you have chosen to use my services or receive additional information from me I may collect personal information about you from this website, from telephone conversations, written information sent to me and from other communications. This information could include your name, contact details and other information you volunteer to provide to me. The information you provide is electronically stored and secure. I also use technology to collect anonymous information about the use of my website in addition to collecting personal information as described above. This technology does not identify you personally, it simply enables me to compile statistics about my visitors and their use of my website.

How long will I keep your personal data?
Whenever I collect or process your personal data, I’ll only keep it for as long as is necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. At the end of that retention period, your data will be deleted completely or anonymised, for example by aggregation with other data so that it can be used in a non-identifiable way for statistical analysis and business planning. Some examples of customer data retention periods: Orders: When you place an order, I’ll keep the personal data you give me for five years, so I can comply with our legal and contractual obligations.

I do not use my own or any third party adverts on my website.

I do not share, sell or distribute your personal information with anyone.
Testimonials
If you provide a testimonial and you agree for it to be inserted on my website, you will not be identified in any way. I prefer to use first name and initial e.g. Gary S, but you can choose any other naming convention, or none at all.
Security
I have in place various security measures to protect your personal information but cannot guarantee the security of any information you disclose on-line. Email is not a secure medium and should not be used to send sensitive or confidential information, including banking details.
